'SES Families Engage in Fitness and Fun'

'Stetson Elementary School held a family-friendly event Sept. 12 promoting good health. The third annual event was created to challenge Stetson families to come together and promote a healthy lifestyle.  Local fitness and health organizations offered information and advice about healthy life choices. Volunteers were also on hand from Peterson Air Force Base’s Top 3 Non Commissioned Officers Organization, Vista Ridge High School’s Key Club and Falcon High School’s Health Academy to help with activities.   “Families need to do things together, and this is one way that the school can help encourage family involvement outside of the classroom,” said Physical Education teacher Matt Monfre, who also organized the event.'
