'24 Hour Fitness Closes East Bakersfield Location'

'24 Hour Fitness is just one of the businesses making the decision to leave the east side of town.  In a notice to employees on Friday, the privately-owned fitness center announced it would be shutting its doors.  Many gym members say they were left in the dark after managers posted signs saying 24-Hour Fitness East would be closing permanently.  12 years ago Gabriel Hernandez walked into the doors of 24 Hour Fitness East and never looked back.  \"I started training because I was a heavy set child,\" he said.'
