'633 Raw @ #LAFITEXPO @uspapower #AMERICANCUP #2016 ! Now that the #AMERICANCUP has come and gone my thoughts.. This was once again an awesome meet put on by the #USPA . The stage was great ..the warm up area , as well as the timing of the flights. The lifters that had goals and records to break , brought the intensity and did not disappoint . As far as my performance.. I felt that I made a crucial mistake as far a prep and a major as far as timing. The big prepping mistake was hydration. As important as it was to do early WIEGH ins I missed the boat as far as staying hydrated. It cost me on Sunday as I missed my second due to cramping. The major mistake that led to the miss on the 3rd was grinding out a lift with to much stress on the joints. As I\'m getting older I preach listen to the body. I didn\'t pay attention to this as far as putting off doing a meet so close to a major. I love Detroit relentless but as a lifter I should have take more time inbetween meets. I didn\'t and I paid for it by tweaking an already banged up shoulder. I\'ll recover and be fine.
