Here are some tips to help.  #1 – High Intensity Workouts  A high intensity workout has many benefits. One being that they get the metabolism going which helps to burn fat but the other is they can be done quickly too. No need to run on the treadmill for 45 minutes, when a HIIT workout can burn more calories in 20 minutes.  If you don\'t know what a HIIT workout is, it\'s basically where you go hard for a short period of time, then slow down and then speed up again. So for example, you jog for 30 seconds, then sprint for 20 seconds, then jog for 30 seconds again. Keep repeating that sequence.  #2 – Get Enough Protein  As your body ages, it will begin to lose muscle mass. Therefore, it\'s important you try and keep this up by consuming enough protein in your diet. A good rule of thumb is to try and include some form of protein in every meal you have. Protein powder can come in really handy for this.  #3 – Try Something New  If you perform the same exercises day in, day out, then your body will get used to them. It will know what calories to keep and which to burn.  But you can trick it into burning more by mixing up your exercises. Try new exercise routines that use various parts of your body. Keep doing this on a regular basis and your body will start using stored fat as fuel because it doesn\'t know what is happening.  There are lots of different ways to get a variety of workouts into your weekly schedule. Cycling, running, tennis, squash, badminton, rowing, volleyball, football and dance classes are just some various things you can do each week.
