'In this video Taylor will be discussing the importance of mindfulness as well as how to properly activate your core muscles. Mindfulness is a word we hear a lot these days, but how can we actually practice & make use of it?  Mindfulness is the psychological process of purposely bringing one\'s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment, which one develops through the practice of meditation and through other training.  Mindfulness pairs especially well with exercise, and can be an excellent way to strengthen both your body and you mind simultaneously. During your workouts it can be extremely beneficial to create a connection with the specific muscles that are working for each exercise. You should aim to feel them physically tighten and loosen during each contraction. In fact, by properly utilizing mindfulness we actually make exercises much more effective!
