'As of 8/20 here at Lifetime Fitness we wanted to provide you an update on our actions to fully reopen Life Time Tempe as soon as possible. This includes indoor fitness spaces currently closed per governmental orders.   Last week, we submitted a formal request to reopen with the Arizona Department of Health Services. This submission included a 314 page document outlining our extensive cleaning and safety protocols to help keep our members and team members safe. Some of the additional actions outlined include: Club capacity limitations to ensure ample social distancing. Contactless digital temperature-taking kiosks at entrance for members, team members and guests. Masks required while in the facility, including during exercise. Cardio floor equipment now 10 feet apart. Studio spacing now 8 feet apart with a dedicated concierge for equipment cleaning and setup between classes. Fitness floor concierge to clean equipment between member use. Merv-13 air filters (hospital grade) and increased outside air intake to improve air quality throughout the club. Continued intensive cleaning protocols with hospital-grade cleaners throughout the day and overnight Closure of steam room, sauna and whirlpool per governmental restrictions. Expanded outdoor class offerings. While doing all we can to reopen, we are taking your health and the health of our Team Members very seriously. We are hopeful our request will be approved in the next few days. Once approval is received, you can expect another communication to quickly follow announcing a reopen date.'
